Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shopify Developer to support custom storefronts, theme modifications, app integrations, and performance optimization. You’ll work on assigned client stores remotely and help create high-converting user experiences across devices.


The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Shopify’s Liquid template language, front-end elements, and Shopify APIs. From landing page tweaks to full cart revamps — you’ll be the go-to person for Shopify-specific development needs.


You may also collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to roll out eCommerce updates that align with visual brand tone and backend stability.

Responsibilities
  • Customize and manage Shopify themes (Dawn, Prestige, or custom builds)
  • Modify Liquid code to add new sections, logic, or cart-level functions
  • Ensure store responsiveness across all screen sizes
  • Troubleshoot app conflicts, load speed, and mobile layout bugs
  • Integrate 3rd-party tools: review apps, loyalty tools, live chat, analytics, etc.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring visual ideas to life
  • Create landing pages or promotional modules for sales campaigns
  • Maintain and organize Shopify backend: products, tags, filters, etc.
  • Work with metafields, dynamic content, and conditional templates
  • Implement tracking codes, schema, and analytics as required
  • Suggest layout improvements and performance optimizations
  • Push updates via Git or store clone environments
  • Document changes and provide handover notes post-deployment
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of Shopify development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Shopify APIs and app ecosystem
  • Previous work on at least 3 live Shopify stores (portfolio required)
  • Good understanding of UX for eCommerce
  • Ability to work with Figma or design handoffs
  • Attention to detail and on-time delivery commitment
